I wanted to throw this out to you all and get some input on getting a new towable tube. There are so many to pick from online now. Some look like crap but how do you tell a really good one. I would hate to spend a few hundred bucks for it to last no time. My use is mainly for the kids and us big kids of course. The kids range in age from 5 to 9 years old so we won't be getting too crazy. So here's the question. What are you guys using that you really like and where are the better deals you have found? So far I'm leaning toward the Super Mable or war chariot for the ride versatility and the high back for the kids.
Thanks in advance.
Stay safe and have fun this summer.
Don

What my kids dont like are the regular round tubes that you can sort of sit in. The round tubes that have the cover that go over the center where the rider lays on top seem to be best when talking about a round one.

We have a Rave Razor that the kids really like. The nice thing about it is that it is perfect for two kids (or adults) to ride in and if you have just one person, they can sit on the top and ride solo.

This is my friends tube, which is the round and flat version they seem to like:

Here is the Razor:

Also...as you can see...the Razor has a little rooster tail, which is cool. Its available at Bass Pro...and on sale now I believe...just threw away my Bass Pro ad, but recall seeing it in theere.

I got this one at Sam's Club a couple months ago for $139 if I remember correctly. Some clubs will still have them.

The Super Mable is an excellent universal tube that can give a smooth ride for the kids or launch adults wake-to-wake. If you get one, just be sure the tube is rock-solid after inflating to avoid taking on water. You'll know you have water if the back is laying down while towing.

One thing to note is that is is a very large tube and for how much we like the Super Mable, many times I've wished we had the Big Mable instead.

My original Super Mable lasted three seasons and we are now on our replacement (due to minor issues with the cover and bladder that Sportsstuff sent replacements for on separate occasions, leaving me with a spare). Given the abuse that we put this tube through, I'm impressed that it lasted that long. Our three seasons of use may be 10 years for someone else, this tube was used hard for almost every weekend for 3 months.

Our kid’s favorite is Chariot Warbird 2…… Very well made and super strong….
We recommend everyone to use helmet on multi people towables since they have high risk of hitting each other on head.

My favorite is the connelly convertable

But for 1-2 adults or 1-5 little kids this tube has served us well. I have 2 one person tubes as well, one of which has a hollow center, kids dont like cause they say feeling the lake underneath hurts. So look and get a tube that keeps them up off the surface.

There's one just like this for sale in the "sell/buy" thread. The seller could make a special deal to someone on the east coast.
