I have a VP I/O (4.3 GL) and noticed some threaded plugs installed in the exhaust elbow while I was winterizing the engine. Just wondering what these plugs are for and whether I should be doing anything with them during the winterization process or other maintenance procedures.
The elbows on my setup look more or less the same as the one here:

I see that the larger port on the engine-facing side of each elbow has a fitting with a hose running up to the flame arrestor, presumably this is a EGR or warm air return to help the engine warm up faster, but not sure what the other plugs are for.
