Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place, but I am having a hell of a time finding plug wires for my VP/Ford 5.0FI. Everything I've read says I need the angled 135 degree ends, even though Sierra lists the standard 90 degree wires as the ones I need. Looking at the current plug/wire setup, I'll definitely need the angled ones. I know these old Ford parts are getting harder to find. I have everything else. Plugs, cap, rotor etc.

Did you try Crowley Marine?
Sea Way Marine in Washington State also stocks a lot of obsolete OMC parts. Since that is a joint venture with Volvo Penta model try Volvo too....

I bought a set of Mallory Marine wires after the third attempt got the right ones, and they fit perfect. I'll get you the part number for a reference.

Perfect Thanks! That's exactly what I am trying to avoid. Especially with spring knocking on our door.

Mallory 9-28029. As for the plugs I went for NGK V power and noticed an immediate difference over the Champion plugs that were in it even though they still looked like new.

Well I put the plugs and wires in today. Other than some choice words while getting my fat hands in the cramped spaces, the wires fit perfectly!
