Hey I just picked up this boat it's a 2000 four winns
5.0 Gi The drive was working perfect and it's been sitting for about a month and a half and just getting ready to go in the water. I hit the button to push the outdrive up everything went fine, nothing happens when I get the down switch no noise at the motor. I did switch around the relays I'm not sure if there actually The right thing to do. I'm not sure where else to look right now and what to check

OK I have an update I switched around the relays I have twin motors so I was able to switch it from the trim that was working. Did not change anything so I decided to start taking apart the switch and I got it working intermediately It works perfect and then next time you touch it it does not work.
So I'm going to have to replace that whole switch hopefully I can find that, it is a sealed switch

If you put the details of your boat in your signature, we would know, engine(s) drives model etc. it would help to have it in the post, to know you have twins. I had the switch go bad in a 96, and the switch was still available. I think I paid $50, but it was mercruiser.... good luck
