| Post subject: | Fuel Pump |
The high pressure fuel pump failed on my port engine yesterday. How do I remove the high pressure pump from the assembly? I have already removed the top bracket and tried to spin and pull the pump out. Do I have to completely dissemble the pump assembly and remove a clip or just pull harder? I fully expect to see the common paint build up on the screen. I plan to clean the assembly and replace just the high pressure pump. Thanks. |
