Does anyone have a repair manual or schematic of the Morse/Teleflex/SeaStar SL3 control like the one in the link below?
http://www.seastarsolutions.com/products/controls-and-cables/mechanical-dual-action/sl3-control/

I pushed in the center button for the neutral engine warm up when I was on the water last weekend, and it stuck in, leaving me able to rev the engine, but not get it in gear.....that kind of sucked...
I had to disassemble the lever and poke around and was finally able to get it back in gear, but I want to see if something needs lubricating or replacing...

Any assistance appreciated.

Erik

Bumping my post to hopefully find someone who has this controller, or something similar...

Thanks all.

Thanks Chris - that seems like a good lead. No idea if it's the same controller, or how it all comes apart, but I suppose I don't have much to lose by ripping into it at this point...

After pulling off that center bolt that holds the shift handle on, I can also see that a couple of the wires to the tilt/trim have been nicked and bare wires are exposed.

Thanks again!

Erik

On my last boat, I had those wires get torn up pretty good, to where the trim failed. It was mercruiser, I was able to buy new buttons that about 6' and a factory plug. Worked well. Good luck!

In case anyone else is in need of it, I got the SL-3 installation and owner's manual from Seastar:
