Hi guys from Down-Under,
My 2006 H220 has a 350 Mag Mercruiser which has twice failed to start half way through a boating day. Dealer has now diagnosed a faulty alternator which he says sent "spikes" (of something??) which blew the fuel pump relay which meant the fuel pump didn't work (obviously). I hope he is correct.
Anyone else had this problem?

Well, it did not fix the problem. Same again last weekend...50 yards from the jetty and engine stopped dead. Will crank, but not fire. Back at dealer today.
