| Post subject: | Fuel Pump relay failure |
Hi guys from Down-Under, My 2006 H220 has a 350 Mag Mercruiser which has twice failed to start half way through a boating day. Dealer has now diagnosed a faulty alternator which he says sent "spikes" (of something??) which blew the fuel pump relay which meant the fuel pump didn't work (obviously). I hope he is correct. Anyone else had this problem? |

Well, it did not fix the problem. Same again last weekend...50 yards from the jetty and engine stopped dead. Will crank, but not fire. Back at dealer today. |
