Looking to pick up a service manual for our new 2008 w/ the 5.7L VP Gi engine package. Found this Seloc book (http://www.selocmarine.com/product_detail.php?item=48), but it says it's for models up to 2007. I can't imagine there is much change between 07 and 08 right? In fact it's entirely possible that the engine in the new boat was produced in 2007, correct? Does VP make an "OEM" service manual, and if so how does one go about getting a hold of one? Any other opinions on other options available? As always, thanks in advance!

There can be a few more differences than you might expect.

BP does indeed make OEM manuals. To get the right ones you have to know which version of the engine you have - F, G, H, etc.

The factory manuals are written more for the tech who has all the VP tools, but there's still good info in them. The Seloc books are more general. I like having both for different reasons.
