From the manual I know my '95 5.0 FL has a 20 amp fuse in addition to the twp 50 amp circuit breakers but where is it?
Sorry for the very basic question and thanks for your help.

Hi Larry, according to my Seloc manual, the wiring diagram for a 95 5.0 FL only shows 1 - 50 amp Circuit Breaker associated with the starting solenoid, 1 10 amp Circuit Breaker for the Trim and Tilt,

I have a 1996 5.0 FI and it indicates a 50 amp Fuse for EEC System, a 50 and 60 amp circuit breaker (tilt /trim) and a 20 amp breaker for the Fuel Pump.

Maybe you were looking at the 5.0 FI or perhaps your manual is incorrect but then again maybe my manual is incorrect.

For What it's Worth

Bruce

Thanks for the reply Bruce. The 20 amp fuse is mentioned in the official valvo factory manual for the 5.0 FL but there is no illustration for it. It is not shown in the wiring schemanic in the same book. The schemanic though only shows the wiring on the engine side of the wiring harness.

Finally found it. The manual calls it a FUSE near the ignition switch. It is a circuit breaker on the dash right next to the ignition switch in plain sight but I was too focused looking for a fuse to see it. It protects the whole harness under the dash. :o

Hi Larry, glad to hear you solved the mystery, I too have that circuit breaker by the ignition and was puzzled when I first saw it.

It's always nice to know whats what

Well at least that's one less spare fuse to carry.
Just noticed you're in Markem-just outside of Toronto? Use to date someone there, great resturants and lots of great water areas. Pass another Molsen eh!

Hi Larry, Yup, it's the same Markham, as you say it's a nice little town although it is rapidly expanding. Lake Simcoe is only a 30 minute drive or you can venture up to the Muskoka's in about 2 hours. Lots of fresh water within a 2 hour radius, of course Lake Ontario is right here as well.
