We sold our Expedition so now we have to use the truck to pull the boat. It does a better job but I don't like my truck setting at the ramp all day while we are out on the boat. But you got to do what you got to do.

http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubima ... &selected=

there are a few pictures here of the vehicles I have used in the past.

I am less than 1 mile from the lake, and at one point was going thru vehicles on a bi yearly basis....so a couple were at there rated limits and some were exceeded...none the less, I am going to try and stick with the fords...I seem to like this truck the best!

Sorry I cant figure out how to link pictures to the forum!!!!

any help there would be great too!

Sadly our old truck was put to rest due to an unfortunate meeting with a Mazda Protege.
No injuries, but the Mazda that rear ended me died a painfull death.

So here is the new tow vehicle! 2008 Chevy Silverado!

Is your towing set-up legal?

Yes, why? Utah law states that 1st trailer must have brakes and there is an overall length requirement. I know there are several states that allow tandem RV towing, just not California and just about all states back east.

If you go to lake powell, you will see many tow doubles/tandem to get there toys down there.

I'm pretty sure I have the smallest tow vehicle here. It pulls the boat no problem.
