How does one adjust a trailer to a boat....are there templates from the factory? Eyeball it? Professional operation? Found one on craigslist that looks promising for my horizon 200.

You want the easy way or the hard way?

Easy way? Forklift. Adjust bunks, check, lift, adjust, lower, check, repeat.

Hard way? Put boat in water, adjust bunks in/out, put boat on water, check, take notes, put boat in water, adjust, put boat back on, check, repeat.

Make sure it's rated for length and weight. H200 probably requires a dual axle. Brakes are a good thing. A two bunk trailer would be okay for an H200 but 4 would be better. It's not rocket science to slide bunks in and out and front winch thingie back and forth to get correct tongue weight.. it's just a pain in the ass. I did it, took 4 tries to get it decent.

During the day of frustration getting it out of the water on a bad ramp I heard a load creak and didnt think much of it, anyways after looking at the trailer I see that its buckled on both sides just forward of the wheels (pics tomorrow I hope) upon further inspection it was rusted from inside, many other spots in pretty rough shape as well so I don't think its worth repairing.

Can you transfer over the measurements from your broken trailer? When we got our trailer I had the boat yard put the boat in slings and drove the new trailer under it. Once lowered to a couple inches above the trailer it's real easy to see how things will line up.

I have a '90 H200 and the trailer I have for mine is a single axle that came from Four Winns.
