I just traded in my 96 chevy 1/2 ton that had a 6.5 td in it. Worked great to pull anything I put behind it. But I think they quit putting td in those when the DMAX came out.

Back to the OP....I've had the "Ego" boost for over a year now and have towed my H220 quite a few times, as well as, a 2000 mile round trip this summer and all I have to say is OMFG!!! Unbelieveable power on demand, especially at low speeds. I was passing people on the interstate at the drop of a hat and you can't believe all the puzzled faces I saw because of it. Up to 12 mpg towing (approx 7000 lbs) and almost 20 mpg around town (I have a lead foot too). Start reading some of the Ford F150 forums and you hear nearly every person talk about their new EB in a similar way. I traded in a 2010 Ford Platinum 5.4L for my EB and the difference was night and day so I had a good basis of comparison too. You will never look back....NEVER!!!

RedrocketSS, don't forget to change your flux capacitor every 3,000 miles .

Will do. Doc said the same thing when he was making some adjustments to the car the other night.

Back on topic...

A tune really wakes the Eco-boost motors up as well. If I was in the market for a brand new truck, I would heavily consider an F150.
