Thanks powell. Love the truck just hoping that getting it up to and keeping it on regular maint schedule will ward off the dreaded laundry list of issues with this 6.0 motor. So far so good, but I've only driven it about 2500 miles. It's an 06 F250 Harley Edition.

Fuel filters every 15K miles are critical. They take about 10 minutes to change...PM me for info on it. I know a MUCH cheaper way to go on this than the dealer.

Nice upgrade! Check out NHTOC.com for anything you want to know about the Harley Edition Trucks. I have the same screen name over there also.

Great Track!
+1 for Fuel filter change. There are 2 of them and one on the lower frame is PITA to change…. As you are aware of that 6.0 leaker is a somewhat troublesome especially in EGR valves carbon build up due to bad fuel. I would recommend using Cetane Booster such as Motorcraft PM-22A every fuel stop since 6.0 does not run well with low sulfur fuel. (15-ppm) We miss 500-ppm Sulfur fuel.
Our 06 F350, 6.0PSD just turned 60000 miles mark and absolutely no problem so far.... Love the power of these Oil burners :D

Been doing alot, did I say alot.....alot of reading on the diesel forums. As a result, in an effort to prolong the life of the injectors I did start using the Motorcraft Cetane Boost since the day I got it home so good to go there. This truck is a rocket for 6000 lbs. I can't keep my foot out of it. The no problems part is great to hear Sushi, because some days I think I'm crazy to keep reading on the diesel forums. You wouldn't think there's a decent 6.0 out there. I know there are because I have friends that own them as well and have had little or no problems as well and at least one with well over 100,000 miles.

While it is true that you do hear some issues with the 6.0L motor, I know its a good motor overall and will serve you well. Most issues are with software. I still have some issues with my 7.3L but overall I really like the towing performance!!!

Only down side I personally see with your truck is the 'H' word/emblem posted on the fine truck. Rip that off and all will be good!!! I just could NEVER haul my fine toys (Honda bikes and Kawasaki jet skis) behind, but thats just me.

So, we don't tow a boat much these days.... but we do have trailers and other smaller stuff we haul around. And we sure tow smaller stuff to the boat regularly.

Had a 2007 GMC Yukon. No nav, but it was very nice... I got an itch and started looking around.. I looked at Jeep Grand Cherokee's a while back - but, I never pulled the trigger.

Well, with the new, 2011 - en route - they are giving away '2010's'. And Yes, I use the term give away. Almost a straight trade for my non-nav Yukon with 47k miles... (which needs brakes and tires pretty quick). I have a benefit with work that gets me below invoice pricing on Jeep, plus all the rebates (and those add up). They went well over anything I expected on a trade in - so I couldn't NOT pull the trigger.

So, I picked up a 2010 Grand Cherokee Limited... Hemi and all... nav, cameras, fully loaded. This thing has some poop too. I love the hemi more than I thought I would... 2 tanks of gas into it, and it gets the same mileage my Yukon did!
