I will be replacing my FW trailer for my Vista 258. Want to go with rollers instead of bunks. Heard about rollers indenting gelcoat over time. Anyone have experience or opinions on this? Anyone knows what FW official opinion would be?

After having both bunk & roller trailers before I would never own a roller trailer. Bunk trailers are much easier to use & less to maintain.

I don't believe the rollers will "dent" the gel coat provided there is adequate roller support for the boat. Depending on the launch you're at, rollers may be better than bunks. Our 180 has bunks but our old Silverline has rollers. At a fairly shallow launch, we've found the rollers to be fantastic for getting the Silverline off/on the trailer. Not sure what the folks over at FourWinns will have to say about rollers though.
