on my 1995 fw 190 trailer i have an off/brand bearing protector that's missing the plastic "bras" (looks to be fulton brand??) - i'm having the hardest time trying to locate a replacement for them since it's a large size ( measures 2.50 inches where the caps will go). i see that bearing buddy has one that might be close enough to work but i was wondering how much give these things have and yet not fall off again. other than searching the trailer sites,- which i've been doing, anyone have a similar problem/fix for this??- bk

Last boat (1995 245 sundowner) I used to try to keep the bra's on, but found that when towing long distance, due to thermal expansion that we kept losing them. Current boat, I don't use the bras. Not going to spend the money to try and keep hub covered.

Just take the hub to your local dealer and have them open up package and make sure it fits, no matter what brand it is.
