Hello all,

Have a '99 h220 with the original four winns trailer. I lost one of the rubber plugs that fit in the acculube hubs. There isn't much in the way of parts stores where we keep the boat, so it took me a while to get a replacement. When I went to put the new plug in, I realized the grease zerk is now sitting to far out of the hub to fit the plug in. How do I push the fitting back in? Do I have to disassemble? Anyone have a diagram/breakdown of this?

Thanks a ton,
Matt

If it is the kind of hub that the grease zerk is in the spindle and the zerk is out to far, it is more like the hub is in too far, you may have a bearing issue, have they been checked lately?

Are you sure you didn't lose the whole cap?

This is exactly what happened. Amazing how simple things can be when somebody else points out the obvious. Thanks for your help. I'm going to go feel sheepish now.
