Hello All,

I need to replace the trailer jack on my vista trailer. The boat is about 4 hours away so I can't easily see how hard or easy of a job this will be. I want to purchase the jack now and take it down with me when I go.

Does anyone have a picture of the jack setup? Is it bolted on? I'm wanting to replace with something like this:

Thanks

I put this one on mine. It was a direct replacement. Just removed the nut on the back of the welded mount plate and re bolted this one on.

Hope this helps, I replaced jack 2 seasons ago, so one in photo is not the original, but mounting is the same.

Powell - This does help, thanks!

Just wanted to make sure this is a bolt on replacement and didn't need to bring out the welder.

Thanks!

I had the very same question as I managed to screw up my trailer jack pretty well this weekend. I see that Fulton offers both a "weld on" and a "bolt on"--but I am thinking that just means the jack itself is welded onto the mount. The actual mount in either case would bolt to the trailer frame. Do I have that correct? The direct replacement for the H230 seems to be the Fulton XP10 0301 which is a weld-on version. Hoping it is as simple as taking one bolt out and putting back in.

The weld on version, you physically weld the mounting bracket to the frame of the trailer.

Thanks for the reply. If the mount is still good (I just messed up the hydraulic), should I buy the weld on and be able to just swap out the jack part of it or do I need to buy the bolt-on instead? If the existing one is a weld-on, will I be able to get it off. Sorry--the boat is 3 hours away. I am trying to buy the replacement so I can take it down with me this weekend and do the repair. It is sitting on a jack stand right now.
