I would check that fuse everytime before you connect the boat and make sure it's good (eliminate the truck is the problem) then if it blows with the trailer on you'll know that the trailer is the issue.
I will do it. If I have to run up and down every wire to try to isolate the problem I'll have to consider just re-wiring with fresh wire, from scratch - just do it all myself, darnit all. I have learned that with many boat issues that to do it right to my satisfaction I have to do it myself (with exceptions certainly).
