I'm curious, with the max load capacity figures for trailer tires, does this represent the total weight of the boat and trailer wet? Or, with single axle trailers do you divide the total weight by two? |

Look at the load rating of the tire B, C, D or E which should be on the tire. You can look up on the web what the load rating for that sized and rated tire is. Multiply that number by the number of tires you have and you have the total load you can carry. You will also want to check the axle capacity as there are 3500#, 5000# and greater rated axles. The total load is all the weight, boat and trailer. |
