I have a 2003 Freedom with trailer.

I had my trailer painted and they didn't correctly mount the brake solenoid.

Could someone please post a photo of how the brake solenoid is mounted? I've already replaced it once but due to incorrect mounting it is damaged again.

It would help if you could post a pic of your coupler and where the solenoid is supposed to be. I'm not sure I understand... they took the solenoid off to paint the trailer?

By '04 they'd switched to a low profile coupler with the solenoid mounted inside the tongue. Not sure about '03 though.
