I'd take a brick with a hole in it over a new Marathon. Check out all the reports of the new ones not even being round.

Fresh out.

Did some checking, the Marathons a few years back had issues with out of round. We will most likely be slipping next season, so the trailer will sit and not get 2000+ miles on it a year. These should suit me fine.

For the price I was able to work out, I wasn't going to look at anything else. They essentially refunded me all my money on the four Gladiators I bought.

Welcome to my world! We are stuck with deciding on heading south to a 10,000 acre lake, or up north to Lake Michigan. We always have great stories to tell about our times on Lake Michigan...where on Lake Monroe we just anchor in a cove.

You can guess where we have decided to slip!

We are still guessing , but wherever you go, it will be nice not having to tow the 268 to water.

Made it through the first year on goodyear marathons (china made) without any issue. Five different trips total about 1300 miles. Tires were balanced upon installation and maximum air pressure added. Observed no problem trailering. Average speed is 60mph on the freeway. Spare tire and jack ready just in case. Boat is in the garage for the winter. It was a good summer!
