I noticed that some of the little clips holding the brake cable on the trailer had come loose. At least I think it's a brake line. Where can I find these clips and how are they adhered to the trailer. They seem to have been glued? Should I just wrap a cable tie around the axle to hold it in place? I hope the photo show you what I am talking about.

If memory serves, those are adhered to the trailer with double-faced tape....

Ha. Well, maybe FW might actually do that on their notoriously not so great trailers. I was thinking of JB Weld glue.

I think I'll use the cable ties. Drilling would be too much work for me at this time. Maybe next spring.

If you have a painted trailer, I would not drill. It will start to rust.

I have change all OEM clips to SS. brake line retainer like Mike's... If you treat holes with rust proof you should be fine.. I drilled mine and treat hole with POR-15 ..I agree they take too much time but I have not seen rust yet after 3 seasons.... Same time I changed all bolts and screws to stainless steel one... Although our trailer never went under salt water yet....

Another vote for cable ties. I did the same and haven't worried about it since.

Regarding cable ties, did y'all just wrap the tie around the axle and the brake line and just cinch it tight?

I got a new one but was wondering if I should do anything to it to make it last.

My trailer is the painted steel, that wouldn't last in dry storage for more then a few years.

If you got aluminum you're fine.
