Anyone know where to get the LED brake and tail lights for a 2008 tandem Four Winns trailer? I backed into a sign post this past weekend and broke the lens on mine

There very common part to replace. Almost any auto store should have them. Here are 2 links you can use.

If you have trouble finding them, go to http://www.optronicsinc.com and look for part numbers:

STL-36RS (right side)
STL-37RS (left side with license light)

These match the factory lights very well. Their web site isn't the greatest but their lights are outstanding - so just call them if you can't find those part numbers.

My original trailer lights filled with water. When I disassembled them to replace the bulbs I realized how incredibly cheap they were and that I would be doing this task again and again. I replaced the tail lights with Optronics LED fixtures and the new lights are about twice as bright as the old ones. They were a direct replacement with the bolt holes aligning perfectly. Try the Optronics website for size specifications, this is an easy job. My plan is to replace all of the light fixtures on the trailer over the next few years.

LED's are the way to go, brighter and they last longer than conventional bulbs, they are a little more money but worth it for the less hassle value.

Plus, they use less power. I was popping the fuse due to the salt water. I think the water was getting to the bulb and causing a small short pulling more amps.

Most of the trailers are universal in mounting. My Loadrite has few a mounting holes for different patten of bolts.

I also had a problem with my tail lights filling with water and then popping the bulb. I never sure if the ride home would be safe or not. After reading some of the comments above, I decided to change mine out for Super Bright LEDs rear tail light set. $53.95 for the set including shipping, about a half hour to install and now I have super bright tail lights that I can depend on. Just remember that you'll also need four waterproof connectors that are available at your local dealer or auto parts store.

This is a quick, cheap update that I would highly recommend to those that don't already have them!
