I just bought a 2012 Ford F150 Ecoboost. Great truck so far. Only 500 miles Great power and 20mpg's on the interstate. Haven't towed yet but will tow all of my stuff with ease. I will let you know how it does when I go to Michigan on May 14 to pick up my H180!!!!

Please let use know! My lease is up in a few months. Lease pricing can get crazy, more so when the model is new. I have seen leases be cheaper for a more $$$ car. It depends on how it holds it value for the new 3 years.

I know a couple guys that are very happy with them so far. I had a diesel and traded it for the Ecoboost. Couldn't see keeping the diesel with the price of fuel and extra cost of maintenance. Also the EPA has really killed the MPG's of diesels and there is such power war going on between the big 3 for who has the most HP and TQ. I don't tow anything heavier than 3000 to 4000lbs and the F150 will do that for me. The Ecoboost is the closest thing to a diesel in a gas truck. My last 2 trucks were dodge diesels !!!!!

I had to get rid of my f-150 (non eco boost) to a F250 Diesel to pull my sl262... Nothing like 800ft of torque.... and 400HP... Eco boost only delievers 400ft torque...

What does your boat weigh? I don't have anything that the 420 ft lbs of TQ won't handle from the Ecoboost!!!

yeah...I'm agonizing over buying a new F150 right now...My wife hates the options I pick, so my 15 yr old daughter is coming to my defense.

For what it's worth, i just purchased a 2012 F150. Although I've heard many positive things about the Ecoboost engine, I ended up going with the 5.0 V8. Vehicles usually have to last me 10~15 years and I have a feeling the V8 may have a longer life, plus I was able to save a few thousand dollars with the standard engine. Thanks for everyone's feedback.
