I am seeking help on trying to locate the trailer brake fill resivoir plug, mine is cross threaded. The trailer is made by Genmar and the the model number is DO220AT. My local Four Winns dealership has not gotten back to me whether they can help of not and I want pull the boat to the lake Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

The actuator itself is probably a Tie-Down, Titan/DICO or other manufacturer - see if you can identify a brand/model/part number on it.

I had the same problem on my Four Winns Trailer, plastic brake resivior plug threads were shot and could not hold the plug in anymore. I took a piece of galvanized flat strap (typically used to hang garage door openers) bent a U-shape into it and placed it over the resivior plug. There were two bolt on each side of the plug and I bolted down the strap by using the two bolts on a diagonal. I will try to take some photos this weekend and post.

What year and type of boat?

You can usually find some information on the Four Winns part catalog:
http://www.fourwinns.net/partbook/index.php

Does it look like one of these?

Sorry I took so long to reply, it's been one of those weeks. I like the idea of the strap downs as a temp fix but EvilZ you nailed it. That is the exactly plug I am looking for. I will get right on the phone and get one order. Thanks everyone for all of your help. I knew I could get the answers I needed on here and NOT from my local Four Winns dealer.

Word of advice, Grace Marine in Bettendorf Iowa has been more than helpful up until I made my purchase but after the sale the customer service came to an end. They won't even return phone calls or emails. Buyer beware with Grace Marine.
