ok.. this is the second time my brake fluid plastic dust cover has jumped off and ran away from the trailer tongue... I guess I need to buy a 6 pack of these? The last time I looked, I could find nowhere to buy them and was able to get one free from the nice folks at tie-down when I called them... anyone else lose theirs?

I'm assuming you mean the plastic cover on the tongue you have to remove to unscrew the reservoir cap....

Maybe an option is to see if you can get a rubber grommet the right size if you don't want to use the plastic cover again. You know, the type they use to plug firewall holes on cars.

Yes, the dust cover, not the screw cap for the reservoir... Hmm, never thought about a grommet, but don't those have holes in them for wires to go through? i would need a piece like a grommet around the edges with no hole through the middle... hmmm... I guess I can check McMaster's web site to see if they have something like that...
