 Post subject: Tabs and trim settings

OK guys bear with me on this one...once on plane where should the tabs and trim be on my 241 libby (460 engine King Cobra outdrive) for maximum performance?

Like on all boats, trim tabs up as far as possible, all the way preferred unless you are porpoising, or need to tweak it sided to side alittle.

Trim will be the sweet spot, you will hear it when you get it. Up to far and the props cavitate, and down to low you will tend to push the nose int he water slowing you down. bump it up a litlle at a time and if yo go to far you will know it
