So far this summer I have almost Givin this thing a full tune up. Points, condenser, plugs, wires, Cap, coil, starter solenoid, power steering cooler, hoses, rebuilt carb, impeller, thermostat. I had an issue with it running at real cool temps when idling. I opened up the thermostat housing again to make sure nothing was lodged in there. Looked good blew it out with air, and one trip temp was normal operating temp all day fast or slow. Took it out again low temp again and boggy at low throttle when temp is low. Even after I open her up runs good then drop back down to 2800-3000 rpm it's seems spuddery or not smooth. I verified that the dwell and gap is correct with points, and good to go. Any suggestions what to do next? |
