Hi all..new member with an '87 Freedom 160 i/o.
Wanting to know what that knob does under my steering wheel..any help would be appreciated.

Is it a knob which might adjust the tilt on your steering wheel? Pictures help!

That would be my guess too. Unless it is for the ejection seat :mrgreen:

Most probably the steering wheel tention knob , try it and see if the steering wheel turns harder and if it loosens up, kind of like auto pilot steering :) :)
