It's been a few months, and I will get some cabin Pics as it is mostly done. But in the mean time, we put one of the 472's in yesterday.

And by the way Rick, yes, we made a tool and it slid in perfect on one shot. Hopefully the second one will be as easy, but with that forklift, it's not hard anyways, it only took 15 minutes to actually put it in and bolt it down.

Lookin' good, can't wait for the report after the first run with the new motors.

You make it look easy alright!

Its a Hyster yuck!! LOL. I might be a little bias. Work for a Toyota Lift truck company. Nice engine though!

That is going to be one nice show piece to be reckoned with when she's done!

Excellent job keeping one of the older ones alive!

Thanks all.
Working hard on it. Out drives are fresh now and just putting on paint.
We did finally come up with a name that we think fits.

Looking good the Liberators keep getting better and better all the time and yours is certainly a good example.

P.S If you go on 460ford.com ask there is a member that can make you 472 emblems ( but maybe don't want to give up all the secrets  )

Take Care Gregg

I was going to do that, but it was hard to find a kit to make them the gel kind that are on there.
I can always peel them back again to do that though. That would make a few do the double take....

It's been awhile for an update. The second Engine is ready except for the remote oil adapter needs a fitting adjustment on the lathe. The second outdrive is just about ready after the engine goes in. I have been putting in over 90 hours a week for a couple of months, sucks, but it pays for goodies!!!!!

I just picked up the air cleaners special order from Ford Racing. The K & N 6" filters are on the way with the appoved tube adaptors for marine use they have now. Here are a couple of pics of Engine one with the new air cleaner setting on it. I still have to make a velocity stack spacer under it to clear the Elect. plugs on the back side, plus grab a little more performance with them.
The will be at least 4", but not more than 6". Lucky I've got lots of space back there..........

I am still going to steel braid most of the hoses and do some more cleanup like touch up a couple of spots on the bottom with epoxy.

Local ford dealer and save shipping over summit or jeggs. I saved about 20 dollars each that way.
