Hello everyone, I am new here and just bought an 89 Liberator 201 with the 350 King Cobra engine package and thru hull exhaust. I understand from reserching the internet the the drive is just the standard Cobra drive even though it says King Cobra on it, but I cant find anything anywhere on engine specs.
Can anyone tell me if this motor came with forged or cast pistons and crank and what the cam specs are?
How does this motor compare with the Mercruiser 350 magnum?
According to the original brochure that came with the boat it has 270 horsepower and 9.3:1 compression and an operating range of 4400-4800 rpm.
I took the boat out last weekend here in Chattanooga on the lake at the damn and with myself, my wife, my brother, and our 3 year old daughter and between 1/2-3/4 a tank of fuel in rough water the boat ran 50 mph on my GPS fish finder at 4800-4900 rpm
