My boat is a 1996 U 19 w/ford 351, computer#f4ff-12a650-kb.Is there anyone that can re flash my computer for changes like larger, intake. throttle body, injestors, cam, ect, ect???? OR,, what lift will that engine take without altering the computer? Thanks for your help. |

I must admit those were tough questions, but I did get answers. As to computer flashing, no one does it on a OBD1, any more. The largest cam is a .486 Thanks for all your help |

Thanks for replying to your thread and supplying answers. Though I had no use for them, others in the future might. Always nice when people do that for a good resource. As for your U19, what changes did you make and what kind of speeds are you seeing? Are you running the duoprop or the SX drive? |

I have installed a trick flow R series intake, a 486 cam a 75mm throttle body, roller rockers, some flow work to the stock heads, .010 larger intake valve and .060 over. Last year the boat ran at 72 on the odo. I ordered a 25 pitch prop and expect to run around 76 this year,,,,,, not bad for a small block!!!!! |
