Ok so I went camping at lake sonoma and it was a blast. but there is this shore that has small pebbles the I beached the boat on to pick up some people and I thought my bow guard would do the job.... Wrong so there are these light scratches like if I took sandpaper to the bow and rubed it along it. Any ideas how I fix it or clean it up, it isnt throug the gelcoat or anything so I dont know is a gel coat repair kit is the thing? And also I know its a new boat and there will be many more scratches to come but I would like to keep this one looking good.

:D Welcome to the world of Boating :!:

You can probably rub those out with a good polish.

I recommend Meguires.

And get a good orbital polisher.

If that doesn't work, the next step would be a light cut buffing compound, compound pad, and a buffer. If that doesn't work, heavy cut would be after that, and if still no joy 100 grit sandpaper after that. If you make it all the way to sandpaper, you then work your way back through buffing all the way to wax.
