I have a 93 210 Horizon that has a 9" stripe burgundy below the rub rail. It needs to be repainted and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a paint that would do a good job on this.

Thanks.

I believe that's a decal on top of the gelcoat, and not paint. Try tking a heat gun to it to see if you can peel some off. If you can't get a replacement from FourWinns direct, they can recommend an outfit that still sells them.

It's paint, or colored gel coat.

Steve, If the color band is not a sticker, it will be gel-coat.

Here's a couple thoughts:

If it can not be restored, you can check to see if FW still has the matching gel coat and an experienced fiberglass shop would be able to spray it on and properly finish it (if FW does not have it, check the places that we recently noted in another thread on repairing a gel coat scratch). Other options woul dbe to have a paint mixed to match the color and have that sprayed on (Imron or something similar).
