Here is what I am dealing with:
Image

When I put the boat away, it was not visible, after the first wash it appeared out of no where. The boat was compound buffed before I picked it up.

My question is what does everyone recommend to remove it? I have searched through here and I can not seem to find anything that provides me the right direction for the issue I have.

I am looking at a few different products:

Meguiar's Gellcoat restoration kit:
includes: #56 pure wax, #49 heavy duty oxidation removed, and #45 boat polish

&

3M Finesse-It

I have buffed friends heavily oxidized cars with the finesse-it products before and had amazing results.

What do you recommend?

I'll put my 3 cents in and give you 3 products I have used that all work, mostly a matter of preference, and how much oxidation you have.

For light oxidation: Buff Magic then followed by your choice of wax.

For medium oxidation: 3M Finesse it II, followed by your choice of wax.

For heavy oxidation: 3M super duty rubbing compound, followed by your choice of wax.

All can be found at West Marine and some at Walmart. You should use a buffer to apply and remove these products. An orbital will work okay, that PC7424 thing is very popular and will work, and my recommendation is use a rotary buffer.

I fully agree with Capn.

I think Cap'n is spot on with his advice. Just to add, I would start with the mildest and work toward strongest as needed.
