Yesterday we were out on the lake and upon coming in, the boat rubbed a corner of the dock that was exposed metal. It put a pretty nice scrape in the green area of the boat (03 horizon 210 with a big wide green band all the way around it). My question is is that area colored gelcoat or a big decal all the way around the boat? On the bottom of the big green area it has 2 1" colored decals around it (white and then green), that's why I ask. Spectrum Color has colored gelcoat kits so maybe it's gel, I just want to know so I know how to try to repair it. Thanks for any replies. |

It should be gel. The decals at the bottom are there to cover up the sometimes uneven line where two colors of gel meet. |

That makes sense, and I'm glad you said that. I was going to take off the two bottom strips cause I thought it'd look cleaner without them but I don't need any suprises under them at this point. Thanks. |
