Boating magazine published a list of cleaning tips a year or so back. I remember them saying to use aerosal deorderant to remove ink stains from vinyl. I've never tried it but would think if it works on ink it should work on rubber skuff marks. If it doesn't work at least your seat will smell good  If you try it one thing I would do, rinse the area well to remove the spray just in case it effects the plastisizer in the vinyl.

Lysol spray is well known for removing ink stains. I'd also try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They work great for vinyl stains.

Jeff, is the vinyl colored or white? Bleach will work no doubt. I used it on my boats before and trust me it works. test a small spot and then go for it.e

Using a combo of a Magic Eraser and Starbrite Vinyl Cleaner/Polish has worked well for me. I use the Magic Eraser to "rub in" the vinyl cleaner and a clean towel to buff it out.

I used to use a rubber inner-tube (the black ones) to hold up the mooring cover on my old 210 horizon. It got so hot under the cover, it actually burned the vinyl. I tried everything including taking it to a a boat inetrior shop. End result: I had to replace the vinyl on the entire rear sunpad.

Try "Soft Scrub w/ Bleach" applied with a dobie pad and rinse off right away, but be careful not to discolor the vinyl. Like mentioned before test this out 1st in an inconspicuous area.

If all else fails, there's a product called vinyl dye. It's frequently used for 'classic car' restorations. I've used it in aerosol form to make worn (faded) vinyl seats on a pontoon look brand new.
