Great shot, Cap'n. It sure is hard to let stuff go.

I've never been on a snowmobile but have always thought it would be a blast.

You and your family would have a great time on snowmobiles. It's something fun to do in the cold winter months. We did it as a family for years, but the kids are grown up now, and don't like to do too much with Mom and Dad these days.

Living in Michigan you have to like the snow and cold, or you will drive yourself nuts. Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and ice fishing are a few things that can only be done in the winter here. Something new we are going to do in a couple of weeks, it's a first for us and I think maybe a first ANYWHERE.
A local radio station is having a special showing of the movie Fargo, at a local drive in. Yes, outdoors ! They will have a fish fry, and some bonfires going throughout the drive in..
You can get the movie simulcast on FM radio at the drive in, so you can enjoy the movie in your car with the heat on. It should be alot of fun. I'll post some pictures after the event.

I would think it would be difficult to see the movie with frozen condensation on the windows. Of course, that also makes it hard to see whats going on inside the car too!
Make sure you bring an ice scraper! :D

A few pics from Fargo last night at the drive in. It was a balmy 39 degrees F.

They had a fishy fry competition with free samples for everyone.

The Winners cooked Walleye.

It was a fun night for everyone. We will go again next year.

That WLAV van sure brings back memories of growing up in Grand Rapids. Looks like a good time.

Here's a dead of winter boating picture... Had to take it out to get some off-season maintenance done (and have the new GPS installed). As much as it pained me to pull it out, I needed to to get the stuff done. To make matters worse we got 12" of snow while it was in the shop. I hope the roads are clean this weekend to put it back in hibernation.
