Ok, I may get mixed opinions about this but Id figured I should share what worked for me. When we bought our boat, there was mildew ALL OVER the cover and a decent amount on the seats. Used 303 and it worked great on the seats, but not on the cover. Car wash worked decently on cover but not cost effective. I resorted to bleach. I took the cover and mixed about 3/4 of a gallon of bleach with maybe 75 gallons of water? (The big trash cans the garbage companies use) Let it sit for a day, all the mildew was gone. Beware of too much bleach or too much time in the water. There was a couple spots I saw that looked like they had started to deteriorate from the bleach. The cover I have is NOT a FW cover. It is just a big tarp cover you can purchase anywhere. I dont know if it would be wise to do this on a more expensive cover, but worked great for me.

I'm a big fan of OxiClean as well. A little less harsh than bleach, but pretty good stuff.
