Hi all, we have a 2011 H210 SS with the plexiglass/tinted windshield. My question is how to care for it? I know in the past with our other boat we would get water spray on the windshield and it was hell getting the spots off, even after using glass cleaner. Now with the new boat windshield being plexiglass (which can propbably scratch fairly easy  ) should I use rain-x on the windshield? Has anyone done that? How did it work? I want to keep it looking shinny a new without showing tons of spots and scratches in the sun. Suggestions please and thanks in advance.

Jim

The most effective product available for cleaning, protecting, and polishing all kinds of plastic. Plexus is easier to use than ordinary cleaners. Its convenient, prevents dripping, leaking, evaporating, and coagulating at the tip of the nozzle (as is common with pumps and squeeze bottles). To use Plexus, simply spray and wipe - no buffing, no mess, and no waste. Plexus protects plastic more effectively than ordinary cleaners. Because Plexus seals the pores in plastic surfaces with a micro-thin layer of shiny, protective wax, plastic becomes resistant to debris, oil, scratches, and eventual yellowing. And its anti-static properties repel dust and lint.

Rain-X = No

Keep spray on sun block as far away from it as you can, that stuff eats it like the cookie monster.

No kidding! Wow, I would have never guessed that. Im pretty anal I have to say, all that crap gets put on before one enters the boat. However, my wife can be kind of careless.....women, they just don't get it.

I'm not sure how well it works with the tinted windows, but I use Barkeeper's Friend to remove the hard water spots from my windows.
