The cockpit & bow canvas covers need to be cleaned & properly treated on my 2003 Freedom. Can anyone recommend a product that will restore / clean the canvas (ie water beading on cover again). Thanks.

Not sure about a cleaner, but once you get it cleaned use 303 Fabric Protectant. It's better than Scotchguard and is the current recommendation from Four Winns.

I cleaned mine with mild dish soap. Dove I think.

then treated it with West Marine's equivalent to 303.

looks like new.

Woolite is a good very gentle cleaner, the treet with 303 fabric treatment.

Just to affirm the posts above the FW ownr's manual also calls for cleaning with a gentle dish washing liquid followed by Aerospace 303.

I used good ole Tide with a second rinse in my washer at home. I then treated with 303. Can you tell which cover I did? No issues with shrinking or damage.

Nice looking boat Dave!
Looks to me from that pic, like your bowrider cover is brighter than the cockpit cover.
cheers Robbi

In that pix, I just did the bow. I have now done the whole canvas and was very happy with the results. Use a gentle cycle on a big industrial washer and you will be all set.
