Hi all,

My name is Steve from Sydney Australia. I have just bought a 2006 Four Winns Horizon 180. Mint condition with only 46 hours. I have had Bayliner before, haines hunter and Quintrex boats before. Mostly Australian made boats. I am looking forward to learning more about Four Winns boats and getting advice from you members in the USA.

Will put some pics up soon. I am after some parts, so hopefully someone can help me out in that department. Dealers in Oz are not the best as far as parts etc. Unless you are getting a brand new boat, they really dont want to know you. Pretty poor as we do not have many dealers here.

Anyway HELLO to all you FW owners....

Steve

Hi Steve,

there's lots of us Four Winners here in Oz... so any questions, just ask away.

Most of my FW parts to date I have bought from the US. Ditto with my Volvo Penta parts and trailer parts.

Thanks Alec, I am going to start chasing a swim platform for my 2006 FW Horizon 180. Know anywhere in Oz?

Steve

AND my favorite. This was Sunday. The ONE accessory belt I didn't replace. The one that LOOKED new when I replaced the others last fall. Snapped as I was hanging out with that girl there who's I'm secretly in love with. The one that requires you to unbolt the motor mount and jack the engine up. Had it fixed and was back on the water in under an hour :)

Ric and Jafo4U, very very nice photos..........................urh of the boat of course! LOL.

We had the wettest summer in Sydney, than I can ever remember. I have been here for 13 years. I am from Perth in Western Australia originaly. In Perth you have REAL summers. 35-40 degress Celsius.
So summer was a bore here. RAIN RAIN RAIN. Mind you we needed it as drought for a looooooong time here.

I will endeavour to take a few pics of some sheilas (girls) if I can pay some nice looking girls to lay all over my boat in bikinis!!!! Yeah right, as if that is ever going to happen!!!
My wife would kill me (again).

Chill,

Steve
:D

Ahh bugger, dont you hate that. What motor do you have and which belt was that? To be honest I have never had replaecent belts in my boats. BUT, now I will put it on my list!!
At least you got your girl back out on the water for a romantic day!!!

Hi all,

Here are some pics of my new FW 180 Horizon. Had it 3 weeks+ without touching water. Have been sick for a few weeks now. Sinus problems. Operation 24 April. Bring it on.

I installed marine radio and fish finder/depth finder and LED light strips under the gunnels. Great at night.

What are members opinion on these high biminis? I prefer a lower one with front and side clears.

I've got a genuine FW bimini on my H190 and find it really, really good. Your seems to sit up a bit higher than mine...

On my previous boat I had one of the lower biminis and it was a pain having to crouch all the time when fishing. Mostly ended up never using it!
