I have a Clarion Aux IN located up top in this area of the boat - see below for type and location

Problem is that is seems to be tightened from behind and I cannot get access to it from either the cushion below, the fridge (to the left) or the air conditioner access ( to the right). Not sure if this is a factory installed, or after market installation location. I have deducted that there is a bad contact on the left channel within this Aux IN. I have flipped wires from the sources to the aux-IN and also at the head unit, Clarion XMD-3. I am sure the problem is the aux-IN. It causes my ipod to "crackle" or cut out on occasion. No problem with radio or CD's.
Thought I would try and see if anyone else knows how to access it. If I cannot access it, I will try some external cleaners to inject.
