I need to make the hole bigger for the stereo remote that is positioned next to GPS.
So I need to cut a bigger hole in the screw-down plastic facia that the radio, GPS and switches etc mount onto.
Anyone suggest best tool?

I small jigsaw will work but I suspect there may be some more handy tools for this job.

Depending on how much material you need to remove, a drum sander or rotary file in a drill or Dremel tool or high speed might be a good choice. Tin snips usually leave a rough edge and would only be used to trim to rough size. Using a soldering iron may work, but results may vary by operator talent. A jig saw or hand saw may work depending on the situation and choice of cutting blade. A plain flat or round file may work for some finishing. With any method, care in using the tool, and protection and support of the work piece are very important.
