I opened it up today to take a look. It's well fried inside.

Seriously doubt they will warranty it. Most expensive part of the upgrade and it's a paper weight. I'll send it in to them but not optimistic.

Hopefully they will repair for maybe half the cost of a new one?

I was not happy with the first plate I made for my head unit. I did it in a rush so the cut was not great and I used too thin of lexan and the white was too bright compared to the rest of the boat. I also cut it in the same shape as the old head unit and it just didn't look right. I decided it would look better in gloss black that matched the little storage compartment door below it. Here is a finished photo as well as one showing how I mounted the head unit to the lexan.

New amp is in an installed. Really happy with how the everything sounds. I'm still trying to eliminate some vibrations from the sub. When I first got everything hooked up it sounded like the whole area around the help was going to fall apart. Lots of vibrations. I'm slowing getting them all worked out by adding some foam strips wedged between panels. I gotta I'm pretty impressed with that Polk MM 10.

This is just a fit test, final process was removing the paper backing, sanding down the lexan and applying Loctite PL adhesive.

Buy some Dynamat to stop the rattles - it works wonders on fiberglass!

I used quite a bit of that back in the car audio days. Might have to use it if I keep getting rattles.

is the sub box anchored? also make sure that the sub is not hitting the back of the box it is mounted in. I have 2x 12s with over 600w pushed to each of them and i have next to no rattles in my boat. Then again I worked at a stereo show for 5.5 years.

If you post some pictures and greater detail of the rattle area i will see what i can do to help you eliminate the rattles. Also a common rattle issue that people overlook is the lead cable inside of the box. A cable anchor and a sheet of foam spray glued to the bottom of the sub box will eliminate the most common rattle which is the cable inside of the box bouncing around.
