Anyone know what size off hand the factory speakers are in my 2007 H200SS? Thinking of upgraded them, but don't want to go custom by cutting bigger holes or anything. Just want a drop in plug and play upgrade. Any suggestions?

Mine are 6.5". I would guess they are 6.5" just because it wouldn't make a lot of sense to use different ones for different models from a cost standpoint.

I could if I was at home and if I was I would have to dig under the covers. Just thought someone might have a quick answer. I know many people have upgraded theres.

You have 6.5s all around (jjker can confirm since he just did a stereo upgrade).

Apparently, depth is an issue for the cockpit speakers though. Might want to stay shallow.

Mine is a 2008, but I can't imagine they aren't the exact same as yours. They are 6.5 all around. I put in the JL 650M in the bow, and 770M in the cockpit. I did have a depth issue in the cockpit. I would have had the issue even with the 650's. The 770's are barely deeper than the 650's. I had some acrylic rings made to build them out. I will post pics eventually. It is done, but I haven't taken photos yet.

Any more questions feel free. I just did it, so it's all fresh in my head. "Blessed" is also a good guy to talk to. He helped me a lot.

Last weekend I replaced the Sony stock speakers in my boat with Polk db651 speakers. Even though they are both 6.5" speakers the mounting holes did not line up; therefore making it a bigger job than I had anticipated. Not too big of deal, but I did have to re-drill the mounting holes.

I forgot about that part. The Sony "speakers" have only 4 mounting holes. The JL's I used have 6. So, yes, you will have to drill. Sorry about that omission.
