I have a 2010 h180 with sony stereo, four spears and subwoofer, which came with the boat. Today we took the boat out, ran about 4 miles offshore to Dog Island. Pulled up to shore and turned the engine completely off. A few seconds later we heard this weird kinda hum, lasted about a second then disappeared. Then it came back, purselike, every ten seconds or so. Again, the key was in the ignition but the turned completely off. After a couple minutes we traced it to the subwoofer which is located on port side under the glovebox where the amp is tuner/cd player is located. I turned the key to the left which gives power only to the radio, turned it on and off a couple times, but the pulse remained. I disconnected the red and white plugs that lead into the subwoofer and the pulse stopped.
I haven't reconnected the subwoofer now that is parked, figured if it started again it might drain the battery or worse.
Any idea what this might be?

its hard to say, when the key is off you have to look and see if the amp is still powered up, it should not be.
