Good catch! I would have probably noticed before buying, but thanks! I think I am still thinking High-five after reading the intended use of the vensura on Mercury's website. My family is mostly into watersports, so I should just go with the prob designed for that (or quicksilver's version QST 5).

Never tried the Vensura but I just got the QST 5, which actually has the PVS holes (factory screwup?) and I'm impressed as far as Holeshot and watersports go. killed my top end though.

Got ya beat. One more work day for me then two weeks off to go boating.

Instead of going up into Lake Huron or Lake Erie this year, we have decided we will boat across Lake St. Clair and spend the majority time of our boating vacation on the Michigan side of Lake St. Clair. The US side has many more nicer spots to anchor out overnight than on our Canadian side of the lake.

Have a good time I know I will. Be safe out there as some folks tend to get stupid on the water on holidays!

thanks all.. Birth in November gives me that perfect 6 months infant wait until life jackets fit in the beginning of boating season 2015.. so i should not miss many boat days.. ill just have to early season fish so the wife does not feel left out. As she does not like to fish.. well.... she will but she sunbathes and holds a rod. is afraid of hooks and fish, but she will real them in lol.

1 more day of work then 10 days on the boat. On the down side I have a very full day of work with 2 machines down that need to run before I'm done for the day.

You gave me an idea. I'm unsure what to do for vacation this year. I was thinking since I keep my boat on the St. John's river in Sanford and it runs all the way up to Jacksonville (and the ocean) maybe I'll take a week and go up the river. Take my sweet time, stop at all the cool places to stop along the way. Go up to Jacksonville to the intercoastal and motor down to St. Augustine and spend a day or two there tied up to the Conch House.

Oh, what do I love most about today? I installed the painted reflectors on my BMW. Big bright orange things goodbye!

Getting ready to go pick up my boat from the shop. Had the bellows and gimbal bearing replaced.. Pretty excited not to hear the growling noise.
