Mike, thanks for the compliment.........actually, it is factory.........but, not on a 2005 model......in 2007 they started making them that way........Before we bought our 2005 several months back we looked around for a 2007 and couldn't find one any where close to within driving distance........My wife really liked that rear jump seat so when we bought the 2005 I looked into what it would take to convert the rear storage hatch into a rear seat.......the parts were available so I ordered what was needed........it was all custom made to order so it's taken some time to make it all come together.......

My wife is looking forward to next summer at Lake Tahoe sitting on the back of the boat reading a book while everyone else is in the water floating and having fun......

First time to post. First Four Winns.
In the process of buying a 2005 214 FW, looked at several 2007's with the rear seat, my wife loves the idea of adding a seat. If you don't mind me asking where did you get the parts and about how much will it cost to put on myself. And are these parts originally for a 224?

Thanks

Here is a list of the Four Winns part numbers that you need to complete this lounge seat conversion......these parts are original equipment on a 2007 and above Funship 204/224.........they just bolt on.......you will reuse your interior seating pieces.....and other items such as hinges and such.

ENGINE HOOD 110-20470 (204/224FS)

BACKREST, LOUNGE SEAT 135-23430 (204/224FS)

CUSHION, LOUNGE SEAT 135-23431 (204/224FS)

All three numbers where purchased at from Mona @ Lewis Boats 636-949-9426

Freight was not cheap getting these items from Cadillac Michigan to Southern California.........do yourself a favor and purchase all 3 at one time and have them all shipped in the same container.........I didn't do this and paid 2 separate freight charges........

Sorry slow to respond.
The boat and other projects are keeping me busy.

We have been going to Center Hill Lake, Tennessee for the last 2 years.
Very clear (clean) and deep.

Thanks

JohnnyMarlin.... I just sent a PM, but in case it doesn't go thru,

Can you tell me where you got the parts to do the conversion on the rear facing transome seat for your 2005 214. I'd like to do the same, but on a 2004. How much did it cost? I have a full metal and wood shop and do custom car mods, so i'm handy with doing all the work my self. Just thought it would be nice to order the parts as a kit if possible, instead of making from scratch. However, if Four Winns charges an arm & leg for the kit, i might have to look into the local upholstry shop taking care of the soft, squishy stuff. Thx,

I'm curious about that vent. Is it for water or fuel? If its for fuel, is there something behind it to prevent water from getting to the fuel?

Post subject:  Re: Hey......Evil Z...........lookey here........

It's for either one.........the way it is designed, the only way water would get into it is if you sink the boat........same with the plastic one........you could plumb in a loop that would self drain any water that gets into the line........

Have a FREE Engine cover , Finished the Rear Seat Install, Looks just like Johnny Marlin's, and Thanks for the help JohnnyMarlin with parts list and dealer.
Mona was very helpful at Lewis boats.
Got a couple of PM's so I decided to post parts and cost.

ENGINE HOOD 110-20470 (204/224FS)

BACKREST, LOUNGE SEAT 135-23430 (204/224FS)

CUSHION, LOUNGE SEAT 135-23431 (204/224FS)

All three numbers where purchased at from Mona @ Lewis Boats 636-949-9926 Great person to work with....

Cost $1,050.00 with shipping to Tennessee from Cadillac, MI, comes on a pallet.
Not hard to install, measure, measure, measure and then drill -- if you do it, put the engine cover on and then pencil and drill. That worked best for me.
Good Luck for those who wish to endeavor --- also sprayed silent coating, seems to have helped, will post results later (did not want foam above the engine).
Still working on other upgrades, will post pics later.
